AINA HAINA PREPARED
AINA HAINA PREPARED is the neighborhood emergency planning and response team that has been organized to prepare the community for the next disaster and to respond to community needs following a disaster
The aim is to empower the community by an internal assessment of capacity and by effective management of available resources by conducting "Map Your Neighborhood," and by sponsoring educational presentations about potential hazards such as flooding, tsunamis, and earthquakes.
Aina Haina Prepared also helps to organize training programs such as Community Emergency Response Teams, Red Cross programs, and Humane Society programs.

PURPOSE OF THE Aina Haina Prepared PLAN
The purpose of the Plan is to educate and train the Aina Haina Community about the "All Hazard Approach" to disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery, and to reduce the impact of a disaster upon the Community.
- Aina Haina shall be come an "All Hazards" resilient community
- Aina Haina shall be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours or more, and able to sustain itself until County, State or Federal assistance arrives
- Identify the risks most likely to impact the community
- Identify vulnerable people/groups/establishments in the community
- Identify community resources available to assist during an emergency
- Establish a Community Emergency Team and subgroups to tackle identified issues
