Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
A corps of trained volunteers who would activate themselves immediately after a disaster to assist their families, neighbors, and communities until first responders can reach affected areas.
Teams:
Aina Haina Prepared classes will be held at the Wailupe Community Park (formerly the Wailupe Elemenatary School) on Hind Iuka Drive. The 3rd class will be held at Battery Harlow at Diamond Head. To register contact Danny Tengan: dstengan@gmail.com.

- Rapidly deploy
- Are self-sufficient
- Fulfill urgent needs of their communities
- Damage assessment
- Warning & notification
- Evacuation
- Identify & assist those with access & functional needs
- Emergency triage & first aid
- Search & rescue
- Preparedness
- Periodic reporting to City
- Suppress small fires
- Emergency utility control
